Overview

We're looking for a Dynamic Dispenser to join our pharmacy team on a maternity cover basis. This is a unique opportunity to work across several closely situated branches, bringing energy, empathy, and precision to every patient interaction.

Duties

Accurately dispense prescribed medications and ensure proper labelling in accordance with legal and professional standards. Assist in the preparation of medication for administration, including compounding where necessary. Provide information and advice to patients regarding their medications, including potential side effects and proper usage. Maintain accurate records of prescriptions dispensed and manage inventory levels of pharmaceuticals. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care and medication management. Uphold cleanliness and organisation within the pharmacy environment, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Experience

Previous experience as a pharmacy technician is highly desirable. Familiarity with medication administration processes is essential. Demonstrated commitment to patient care, with strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and colleagues. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
