Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Dispenser / Technician to join our team in a Distant Selling (Online) Pharmacy. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the safe and efficient dispensing of medications to patients and providing an online weight management service. You will work closely with pharmacists and healthcare professionals to provide exceptional patient care and support medication administration. Your attention to detail and commitment to patient safety will be essential in this fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

Accurately dispense medications as per prescriptions, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements. Assist pharmacists in preparing and labelling medications for patients. Maintain accurate records of medication dispensation and inventory management. Provide information and guidance to patients regarding their medications, including usage, side effects, and storage instructions. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care and medication management. Conduct regular stock checks and assist in ordering supplies as needed. Uphold high standards of cleanliness and organisation within the pharmacy environment.

Skills

Strong knowledge of medication administration procedures and protocols. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.
