Job Description

We are looking for a Pharmacy Dispenser / Technician for our small friendly Pharmacy in Thorpe le Soken

We offer a relxed atmosphere to work in - all dispensing will be using cutting edge technology in the form of the Titan computer PMR system which means that you will never need to sign a dispensing label ever again - all dispensing is checked by barcode verification.

You will also be required to work on the Pharmacy counter advising on symptoms etc. so experience in this area will be a huge advantage.

We are also potentially looking for a registered Pharmacy Technician to carry out some of the newer roles that registration brings as follows:-

We are looking for you to carry out vaccinations, blood pressure readings, ear wax microsuction, work under various PGD's etc - all training for these new roles will be provided.

Responsibilities in the dispensary would include labelling, dispensing, answering queries over the phone as well as in the pharmacy, making up blister packs, etc.

You will be required to undergo continuous training to keep abreast of the constant changes in the Pharmacy world.

We are also willing to take on somebody with no experience but please be warned that in such instance there will be a lot of training so you must be a keen learner willing to study in your own time to achieve various training objectives.
