We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Dispenser to join our healthcare team. This role involves preparing and dispensing medications accurately while providing excellent patient care. Duties

Accurately dispense prescribed medications in accordance with healthcare regulations and prescriptions Assist pharmacists with medication preparation, packaging, and labelling Provide guidance to patients regarding medication usage, potential side effects, and storage instructions Maintain meticulous records of dispensed medications and inventory levels Ensure the pharmacy environment adheres to health and safety standards Support patients with medication administration procedures when necessary Manage stock levels, reorder supplies, and check expiry dates regularly Uphold confidentiality of patient information in compliance with data protection laws

Experience

Prior experience as a pharmacy technician or dispenser is highly desirable Knowledge of medication administration protocols and patient care practices Familiarity with pharmacy management systems and prescription processing software Strong organisational skills with attention to detail Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals Ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining accuracy in a fast-paced environment
