Job Description

We are looking for a friendly and reliable Pharmacy Dispenser to join our team at our independent pharmacy in Wakefield, West Yorkshire. We are a busy pharmacy with a great team who cares about our patients and provides quality healthcare to our community.

Your main responsibilities will be to support the front counter and assist with the efficient running of the dispensary. Pharmacy experience is essential and applicants would ideally have completed an accredited NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) Dispensing Assistant training qualification or be currently working towards this. Evidence of this will need to be supplied at the interview. Competent with Analyst PMR system would be ideal but not necessary.

The right candidate will be a team player with good communication and interpersonal skills, attention to detail, organised and passionate about helping people. We have a really lovely team with an excellent experienced Pharmacist manager so we would like someone who is happy to slot in to that set up and work at pace in a busy enviroment. We treat our staff well with a competitive bonus scheme and a staff meal out once or twice a year.

Ideally we would like someone part time covering Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday's 9am-5.45pm with a half hour lunch break. Please get in touch with your available hours if unable to meet these hours specifically. Salary is competitive and dependent on experience.
