We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Dispenser to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient dispensing of medications to patients. This position requires a strong commitment to patient care, as well as the ability to work collaboratively within a pharmacy environment. Excellent communication skills are essential in this environment.

Responsibilities

Accurately dispense medications as per prescriptions while ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines. Provide exceptional patient care by answering queries regarding medication usage, side effects, and storage. Assist in the preparation and administration of medications under the supervision of our pharmacist. Maintain an organised and clean work environment, ensuring that all equipment and supplies are readily available. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes through effective medication management. Keep accurate records of dispensed medications and assist in inventory management to prevent shortages or overstocking.

Skills

Proven experience as a Pharmacy Technician or in a similar role is highly desirable. Strong understanding of medication administration and patient care principles. Excellent attention to detail with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining a high level of accuracy.

Pay: From 12.50 per hour
