We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Dispenser to join our team in Witham. On a 37.5 hour per week contract, covering shifts Monday to Saturday. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and effective distribution of medications to patients. This position requires a strong commitment to patient care and the ability to work collaboratively within a pharmacy setting.

Duties

Accurately dispense medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals, ensuring compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements. Assist in the preparation of medication orders, including counting, measuring, and mixing pharmaceuticals. Provide excellent patient care by answering queries regarding medications, usage instructions, and potential side effects. Maintain accurate records of medication dispensation and inventory management. Collaborate with pharmacists and other healthcare staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Uphold cleanliness and organisation within the pharmacy environment to promote safety and efficiency.

Requirements

Previous experience as a Pharmacy Dispenser or in a similar role is highly desirable. Previous UK community Pharmacy experience is a must Proficient in medication administration practices and knowledgeable about various pharmaceuticals. Strong attention to detail with excellent organisational skills. Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment while maintaining a high level of professionalism. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with patients and healthcare professionals. A commitment to providing exceptional patient care and support.
