Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Dispenser to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and dispensing of medications, ensuring that patients receive the correct prescriptions in a timely manner. Responsibilities

Accurately prepare and dispense medications as per prescriptions, ensuring adherence to all legal and regulatory requirements. Provide exceptional patient care by answering queries regarding medications, dosages, and potential side effects. Collaborate with pharmacists to ensure the safe and effective use of medications. Maintain accurate records of medication dispensed and assist in inventory management. Ensure that the pharmacy environment is clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety standards. Assist in training new staff members on pharmacy procedures and best practices. Stay updated on new medications, therapies, and industry regulations to provide informed support to patients and healthcare professionals.

Qualifications

Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician or in a similar role is highly desirable. Strong knowledge of medication administration practices and patient care principles. Excellent attention to detail with strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively. Ability to communicate clearly with patients, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals. A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards in pharmacy practice. Relevant qualifications or certifications in pharmacy dispensing are advantageous but not mandatory.

Pay: 12.21-13.20 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 30 per week
