1. Overview

We are seeking a skilled Pharmacy Dispenser or a candidate for an apprentiship to join our team at Yorkshire Pharmacy and Health Clinic, 91 Snape Hill Road, Darfield, S73 9LR.

We have 2 positions available to fill:

1) If applying as a

Pharmacy Dispenser

, you will play a crucial role in supporting the pharmacy operations by accurately dispensing medications and providing excellent patient care.

2) If you are applying for the

Dispensing apprenticeship

position, you will be placed on a pharmacy dispensing course accredited through our training provider. This can either be a 1 year course to become an accredited pharmacy dispenser, or a 2 year commitment to become a qualified pharmacy technician.

The wage will relate to the national wage for apprentices according to age group. This will be a fantastic way for someone to get a foot in to the pharmacy sector, even if they are lacking any previous experience.

Duties

- Dispensing medications in accordance with prescriptions
- Assisting pharmacists with medication administration
- Providing exceptional patient care and customer service
- Maintaining accurate records of medications dispensed

- Collaborating with the pharmacy team to ensure smooth operations- Blister tray assembly

Experience

- Previous experience as a Pharmacy Dispenser or Pharmacy Dispenser is desirable
- Strong knowledge of medication administration procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- A passion for patient care and well-being

-If applying for the apprentice programme for the dispenser post, a lack of experience is fine but a good attitude and eagerness to learn is a must
