Overview

We are seeking experienced dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Dispensers to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for assisting in the preparation and dispensing of medications, ensuring that all patient care standards are met.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to patient safety and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Communication skills are vital, a good command of English is essential in order to apply for this role.

Duties

Accurately prepare and dispense medications as per prescriptions from healthcare professionals. Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and guidelines related to pharmacy practice. Provide exceptional patient care by answering queries and offering advice on medication usage and side effects. Maintain accurate records of medication dispensed and inventory levels. Collaborate with pharmacists and other healthcare staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes. Assist in the administration of medications under the supervision of a qualified pharmacist when necessary. Keep the pharmacy area organised, clean, and compliant with health and safety standards.

Qualifications

Previous experience as a Pharmacy dispenser here in the UK is essential Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills. Ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals. A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards in pharmacy practice. Relevant qualifications in pharmacy or related fields would be advantageous but not essential.
