We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Dispenser to join our healthcare team. The successful candidate will be responsible for accurately dispensing medications, assisting pharmacists, and providing excellent patient care. Prior pharmacy technician experience is preferred, but full training will be provided for the right candidate. Responsibilities
Dispense prescribed medications accurately in accordance with pharmacy protocols and legal requirements
Assist pharmacists with medication preparation, verification, and stock management
Provide guidance and support to patients regarding medication usage, side effects, and storage instructions
Maintain precise records of dispensed medications and patient interactions in compliance with data protection regulations
Support in inventory management, including stock replenishment and expiry date checks
Ensure the pharmacy environment remains clean, organised, and compliant with health and safety standards
Contribute to delivering compassionate patient care by addressing queries professionally and efficiently
Skills
Previous pharmacy technician experience is highly desirable
Knowledge of medication administration procedures and pharmaceutical terminology
Strong organisational skills with meticulous attention to detail
Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals
Ability to work accurately under pressure in a fast-paced environment
Commitment to patient confidentiality and high ethical standards
Basic IT literacy for managing electronic health records and pharmacy systems
