We are looking to recruit a pharmacy dispenser/trainee to join our team. Experience is preferred but not essential as full training will be given via Buttercup Training Course. The position is part time, permanent, operating Monday to Friday with an alternate Saturday working pattern.
The dispenser will work under the direct supervision of the pharmacist and will carry out day to day activities which include:
Assembling and labelling of prescribed medication.
Providing advice and selling over the counter medication.
Responding to queries and questions from patients (face to face or by telephone).
Assisting in providing pharmacy services such as smoking cessation, pharmacy first and chronic medication service.
Stock management which include ordering and storing.
Understanding the importance of complying with and maintaining customer confidentiality.
Must Have Skills:
1. Have a keen interest in healthcare and helping patients
2. Happy working as part of a team
3. Have excellent communication skills and customer facing experience
4. Should be computer literate
5. Have a good attention to detail and work in a methodical manner
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: 12.71-14.50 per hour
Expected hours: 38.75 per week
