Monday to Friday 9am to 6pm and 1 in 4 Saturday 9am to 1pm

If so, you could be a great candidate and should consider the opportunity of joining us to train as a Dispensing Assistant at a centralised facility bringing about new and more efficient ways of dispensing medicines.
The job is fast paced - the day really does fly by! You will be involved in different work streams throughout the day as part of a team to achieve our goal of safely and promptness of supplying medication.
Our teams are small, friendly and work closely together - you will become an integral part of the team from the very start of your journey with Kamsons. Great communication with your colleagues and a can-do attitude will be the key to success.
Main roles and responsibilities will include:
Label and dispense prescriptions in accordance with standard operating procedures in an efficient and accurate manner.
Ensure the safe supply and appropriate storage of medicines.
Ordering sufficient medication and stock in line with company procedures to meet demands of our central fulfilment facility and date/usage checking to maximise availability and minimise waste.
Work in accordance with data protection principles to ensure patient confidentiality.
Process invoices and paperwork in a timely manner following company procedures.
Undertake all necessary housekeeping duties so that dispensary and other operational areas are kept clean and tidy.
Work as part of a team and actively demonstrate a willingness to support and achieve the overall business objectives.
Liaise with other Kamsons branches where necessary regarding any operations updates.
Within 3-6months of starting the role you will have the opportunity to undertake and work towards an NVQ Level 2 Pharmacy Dispensing Assistant course*
(There is a requirement for candidates to be placed on the correct course relevant to their role in pharmacy to further develop your understanding of the role)*
