Hingley Pharmacy has an exciting opportunity for a qualified dispensing assistant to join our friendly, experienced team at our busy community pharmacy in Cradley Heath. The business is family owned and provides a large range of healthcare services to the local community. We pride ourselves on the professional, safe and efficient patient-centred care we provide. The position would suit a qualified pharmacy assistant (GPhC recognised NVQ2 in dispensing services).
The pharmacy is a true community pharmacy with a strong customer focus provided by a willing, highly-motivated team of pharmacist, dispensers and counter assistant who offer a variety of treatments for health conditions, a comprehensive retail selection as well as a full dispensing service.
This position will be focused on the safe, timely, and efficient provision of medication to our valued patients. The work offers an absorbing role in a productive, energetic environment.
Responsibilities
Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately and efficiently, with a focus on MDS preparation. Provide exceptional patient care by answering inquiries and offering guidance on medication usage. Maintain inventory levels and ensure proper storage of pharmaceutical products. Support medication administration processes under the supervision of licensed professionals. Uphold safety and hygiene standards within the pharmacy environment. Collaborate with healthcare team members to enhance patient outcomes.
