Job Description
We are seeking to recruit a new member to join our dispensing team in our small community pharmacy as a Pharmacy Assistant with an NVQ Level 2 in dispensing and OTC experience is essential.

Shifts to be confirmed
What will the candidate be doing?
Dispensing of medication to patients Handling of stock and deliveries Over counter sales of non-prescription medication Serving customers and answering phone calls Check and monitor prescription slips Health & Safety Responsibility Maintenance of dispensary or shop Use of Patient Record Systems and use of smart card Data Entry relating to medication Labelling and Dispensing Accuracy and Attention to detail Working within a team environment Liaison with Doctors surgery and health professionals
Preferred candidate skills
Good communication skills Teamwork Wiling to learn Organisation and attention to detail Non judgemental and patient and care about patient welfare Work accurately under pressure in a fast paced environment Be willing to undertake extra training Take on feedback and listen to directions NVQ Level 2 in pharmacy dispensing Over the counter experience
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: 20,800.00-27,936.00 per year
