FULL TIME Pharmacy Dispenser Required

Full time position available for community pharmacy based in Strood, Kent

30+ hours per week

Normal Pharmacy Opening Hours:

Mon - Fri 9am - 6pm, Sat 9am - 1pm (on rotation, 1 in 3)

Lunch break 1 hour

Full time/ part time positions available with a lot of flexibility.

Preferred Requirement:

Have previous experiences in working in a community pharmacy (1 year minimum) and qualifications (NPA/Buttercups/Other pharmacy dispensary specific training)

Day to Day Duties:

You will be playing an essential part in the pharmacy, responsible for the daily dispensing of prescriptions for checking by pharmacist.

We are looking for experienced and qualified dispensers to help improve and drive the business forward.

You will be assisting both the responsible pharmacist and fellow dispensers in achieving the best outcomes for patients.

We are an Independent Community Pharmacy who are actively increasing the business, so it is vital for applicants to be confident/talkative and have a willingness to speak to patients.

Day to day duties will include:

(30+hrs /week) Available - Must be available for some Saturday mornings

- Dispensing of walk in prescriptions, and ETP Prescriptions, Assembling Dossets/Blister Packs

- Repeat Management

- Stock Management, Date Checking, Rotation

- Comparing prices from various suppliers before ordering.

- Dealing with patient dispensing queries and OTC queries.

- Working on the OTC section tills as required

You will also be expected to partake in the following:

- Implementation of the Repeat Management System

- Apply clinical/technical knowledge to problem-solving.

- Assist with the recording and reporting of adverse drug reactions.

- Undertake training as required to keep up to date with pharmacy and NHS guidelines.

- To identify and learn from analysis of errors

Pay: 12.21 per hour
