We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Dispenser to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for accurately preparing and dispensing medications, ensuring patient safety, and providing exceptional patient service. Duties

Prepare and dispense medications accurately according to prescriptions and pharmacy protocols Assist with medication intake processes and verify patient information Maintain thorough documentation of medication dispensing activities Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure appropriate medication administration Support patient service activities, including answering questions and providing medication guidance Manage inventory levels and ensure proper storage of pharmaceuticals Adhere to safety standards and confidentiality protocols Participate in medication reconciliation and review for accuracy in acute care environments

Requirements

Critical care or hospital experience highly preferred Strong patient service skills with a focus on patient care and safety Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environments requiring attention to detail Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with healthcare teams Certification or licensing as required by state regulations for pharmacy technicians is a plus
