Summary

We are seeking a skilled Pharmacy Dispenser to join our team in Stanmore. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the safe and efficient dispensing of medications while providing exceptional patient care that aligns with our commitment to community health.

Responsibilities

Accurately dispense medications and manage prescriptions Provide medication administration support and guidance to patients Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations and standards Maintain accurate patient records and documentation Assist in inventory management and stock control Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes Offer excellent customer service and address patient inquiries Participate in ongoing training and professional development

Qualifications

Proven experience as a Pharmacy Dispening Assistant/Technician or similar role NVQ2 or NVQ3 Strong knowledge of medication administration practices Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment Attention to detail and strong organizational skills Commitment to providing high-quality patient care Familiarity with current NHS services provided by pharmacy (Pharmacy First, Minor Ailments, Flu & Covid Vaccinations, etc.)
