Responsibilities

Accurately dispense prescribed medications in accordance with pharmacy protocols and legal requirements Assist with medication administration under supervision, ensuring correct dosages and patient instructions are provided Support pharmacists in preparing and organising prescriptions efficiently and safely Maintain precise records of dispensed medications and patient interactions Provide compassionate patient care by answering queries, offering medication guidance, and ensuring a positive pharmacy experience Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including proper storage and handling of medicines Keep the pharmacy environment clean, organised, and fully stocked with necessary supplies

Qualifications

Previous experience as a pharmacy technician or in a similar role is preferred Knowledge of medication administration procedures and pharmacy software systems Strong organisational skills with attention to detail to minimise errors Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals A caring attitude with a focus on delivering high-quality patient care Ability to work accurately under pressure within a fast-paced environment Relevant qualifications or certifications in pharmacy practice are advantageous but not essential
