Delivery of medications from pharmacy to patients and nursing/ care homes following pharmacy's delivery procedures & safety protocols.
Collection of prescriptions from surgeries/ institutions as and when required.
Working closely with different teams of the pharmacy to ensure timely deliveries.
Require to complete annual pharmacy driving training to carry out delivery of medication duties.
Adhering to Data Protection Act 2018 i.e. data confidentiality.
Daily Vehicle checks at the end of shifts.
Other ad-hoc duties may be required from time to time by different teams.
Requirements:
Must have a
clean and valid
UK driving licence with a good knowledge of the local areas.
Flexibility to cover other drivers across the region.
At least 1 year of relevant experience within a pharmacy preferred but not essential.
Good communication skills and team-player.
Must be professional and punctual.
Friendly, patient and possess an excellent level of customer care/ service.
Good numeracy skills.
Self-motivated and possess the ability to work within tight deadlines.
Ability to prioritise workload.
Reliable and responsible.
Hours of work (part-time hours):
Tuesdays and Thursdays (subject to changes).
10.00am to 4/5.00pm (flexi).
12 - 18 hours per week.
Salary:
12.21 per hour.
