We are seeking a reliable and experienced Driver to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for safely transporting prescriptions to various locations, ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining the highest standards of safety and professionalism. This role offers an excellent opportunity for individuals with a passion for driving.
Duties
Operate commercial vehicles, including flatbed lorries, in accordance with road safety regulations and company policies
Deliver goods to clients and suppliers across designated routes, ensuring punctuality and accuracy
Conduct pre-journey vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues promptly
Load and unload cargo efficiently, utilising warehouse experience and mechanical knowledge as required
Maintain accurate delivery documentation and communicate effectively with dispatch teams
Adhere to all health and safety guidelines during transit and loading procedures
Assist with warehouse duties when necessary, supporting overall operational efficiency
Business will provide vehicle, fuel and insurance.
Experience
Proven experience as a delivery driver or in a similar commercial driving role, ideally with pharmacy delivery driver experience
Knowledge of vehicle maintenance and mechanical systems is advantageous
Clean UK License
Must be over 30
