Job Description

BETH are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pharmacist to join the team. The SEL Workforce Development Hub is the training hub for South East London working collaboratively with the six borough hubs to provide training, education and other support to Primary Care. We support over 200 practices and 36 PCNs.

Key functions of Pharmacy Forum Facilitator Role;

Organising and facilitation of face to face and virtual Pharmacy forums aimed at Pharmacy Technicians and Pharmacists within Bromley GP surgeries. Arranging all aspects of Pharmacy forum including subject matter for forums, finding and arranging speakers, liaising with SELWDH to support with Comms. Meetings with Prospective speakers discussing what is required for target audience, how we can tailor the talk to their needs. Ensuring speakers know the expectation and feel fully supported to do the talk e.g. ensuring they know which platform is being used, timing, when to join, will there be a Q+A, questions during or at the end of consult. Supporting colleagues, informing BETH of training needs, additional support that can be implemented.

Relationships



Establish strong relationships and two-way communication channels with pharmacy colleagues across PCNs; Work as part of the Training Hub team to develop and sustain strong professional and interprofessional networks supporting learning, and development for all primary care staff;

Policy and service delivery



To promote standards of care, compassion, openness, transparency and candour in all aspects of service delivery. Propose changes to own function making recommendations for other service delivery;

Qualifications;



ESSENTIAL



Valid GPhC registation

Passion for pharmacy and professional development. Ability to foster a collaborative, inclusive, and supportive learning environment. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing needs Leadership qualities, with a commitment to promoting the growth of pharmacy staff.
Job Types: Fixed term contract, Zero hours contract
Contract length: 6 months

Expected hours: 1 - 2 per week

Experience:

pharmacy: 2 years (preferred)
Licence/Certification:

GPhC registration (required)

Work Location: Hybrid remote in Bromley, BR1 3WA
