We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Assistant to join our team. As a Pharmacy Assistant, you will assist in medication administration, manage inventory, and provide exceptional patient care. This position is vital in maintaining the smooth functioning of our pharmacy and enhancing patient satisfaction.

Responsibilities

Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately. Manage inventory by monitoring stock levels and placing orders as necessary. Provide excellent customer service by addressing patient inquiries and concerns. Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations and safety standards. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the pharmacy workspace. Support medication administration under the supervision of licensed pharmacists. Assist with administrative tasks such as filing prescriptions and updating patient records.

Experience

Previous experience as a Pharmacy Dispenser is preferred but not essential. Familiarity with medication administration processes is advantageous. Experience in patient care or customer service roles will be beneficial. Strong attention to detail and organisational skills are required. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and team members.
