Our pharmacy serves a significant Punjabi, Urdu, and Hindi-speaking population. We are looking for a leader who can connect with our community, build trust, and ensure accessible and culturally sensitive healthcare for all.

Your Role and Responsibilities:

As the Pharmacist Pharmacy Manager, you will be at the forefront of our mission to provide outstanding patient care and expand our clinical services. You will have the autonomy and accountability to:

Drive Service Growth:

Take ownership of growing our NHS and private service income. This includes proactively increasing the delivery of key NHS services such as the New Medicine Service (NMS), NHS Blood Pressure Checks, and smoking cessation clinics. You will also be responsible for developing and promoting a robust private service portfolio, including a comprehensive travel vaccination clinic.

Lead and Inspire:

Manage and mentor a dedicated pharmacy team, fostering a culture of clinical excellence, continuous improvement, and exceptional customer service.

Ensure Clinical Governance and Patient Safety:

Uphold the highest standards of pharmacy practice, ensuring full compliance with GPhC regulations and NHS contractual frameworks.

Community Engagement:

Act as a key healthcare figure within the local community. Your ability to communicate effectively with our diverse patient base, including those who speak Punjabi, Urdu, or Hindi, will be crucial to building strong relationships and improving health outcomes across Sandwell & Dudley.

Financial and Operational Management:

Oversee the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy, including dispensing services, stock management, and financial performance, to ensure efficiency and profitability.

Who We're Looking For:

We are seeking a highly motivated and commercially astute pharmacist with the following qualifications and attributes:

Essential:

Registered Pharmacist with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC). Proven experience in a community pharmacy setting. A demonstrable track record of successfully delivering and growing NHS services. Strong business acumen with experience in managing a budget and driving revenue. Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills. Fluency in Punjabi, Urdu, or Hindi is highly desirable to meet the needs of our local demographic. A patient-centred approach to pharmacy care.

Desirable:

Independent Prescribing Qualification:

An Independent Prescribing qualification is a significant advantage. We are keen to support the development and utilisation of this skill to its full potential within our enhanced service model. Experience in providing private clinical services, such as travel health.
