The Pharmacy Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the pharmacy, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, and delivering exceptional customer service. This role involves managing pharmacy staff, optimising workflow, and maintaining a high standard of patient care. The Pharmacy Manager will also collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive medication management and support.
Responsibilities
Supervise and lead pharmacy staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and best practices in pharmacy operations.
Manage inventory levels, including ordering and stock control to ensure availability of medications.
Provide exceptional customer service by addressing patient inquiries and resolving issues effectively.
Collaborate with healthcare providers to optimise patient medication therapy and outcomes.
Conduct regular training sessions for staff on new products, procedures, and customer service techniques.
Maintain accurate records of prescriptions, patient profiles, and medication usage in accordance with legal requirements.
Implement IT systems to enhance pharmacy operations and improve efficiency.
