Pharmacy Manager

to lead our

Dispensary

Your Experience:

Registered with the GPHC

Homecare Pharmacy experience desirable but not essential.


Minimum 5 years Pharmacy Manager experience.


Excellent verbal and written communication skills including the ability to communicate well with all stakeholders


Works well under pressure and in a target driven environment.


Strong leadership experience, ability to lead and direct team members


Able to make confident judgements.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the dispensary.


Ensure compliance with relevant regulatory and clinical standards (including GPhC and GDPR).


Foster a culture of excellence, promoting patient safety and outstanding service delivery.


Develop and mentor staff, ensuring high levels of performance and engagement.


Work collaboratively with clinical and operational teams to enhance the patient journey.


Monitor departmental targets, ensuring performance goals are achieved and exceeded.


Oversee stock control and procurement processes within the dispensary.


Analyse service performance and implement improvements where needed


Handle escalated queries and complaints, ensuring timely resolution and continuous learning.


Supporting the Pharmacy Superintendent and Pharmacy Operations Manager in the development and improvement of Standard Operating Procedures and all other aspects of Personal Homecare services.


Conducting risk assessments to ensure patient safety in all processes.
