Job Summary

The Handpost Limited is seeking a motivated and experienced Pharmacy Manager to lead the team. The pharmacy is a busy and well-respected community pharmacy in Newport. This is an excellent opportunity for a GPhC-registered pharmacist with strong leadership skills and a genuine passion for patient care.

Responsibilities

Manage the day-to-day operations of the pharmacy, ensuring safe, effective, and compliant service delivery Lead and support a dedicated team of dispensers, technicians, and pharmacy staff Deliver outstanding patient care through both NHS and private pharmacy services Ensure compliance with GPhC standards and all relevant and regulatory requirements Maintain and improve clinical governance and operational performance Mange stock levels and supplier relationships Foster strong relationships with patients, local healthcare providers, and the wider community Drive service growth and promote the pharmacy's role in delivering integrated healthcare

Requirements:

GPhC registration as a Pharmacist (essential) Independent Prescriber (IP) qualification

preferred but not essential

Previous experience in a pharmacy management or supervisory role (preferred) Strong leadership , communication, and problem-solving skills Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and lead a team effectively A commitment to ongoing professional development

Pay: 39,008.62-60,786.08 per year
