Gormley Pharmacy are recruiting an OTC/ Dispensary assistant to join our team in Limavady. The Role

The Pharmacy OTC Dispensary assistant will assist our team with dispensing activities in accordance with all pharmacy SOP's. They will maintain high professional standards and support the day to day operation of the pharmacy together with the provision of excellent customer care to patients. A full job description will be provided to shortlisted candidates.

Duties:

- Assist the pharmacy team in selling OTC medications and have good product knowledge
- support the pharmacy team with handling prescription orders
- Provide excellent customer service and patient care
- Maintain inventory of medications and retail stock and ensure stock is well merchandised and organised
- Provide information to customers regarding OTC medication and the services that the pharmacy offers
- Handle cash transactions accurately
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment

Qualifications:

- GCSE English and Maths Grade C or above
- Previous experience in a pharmacy or healthcare setting is preferred
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling cash sales
- Excellent customer service skills and ability to communicate effectively with patients and healthcare professionals
- Proficiency with Microsoft applications for data entry and prescription processing,
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively
- Positive friendly attitude, excellent communication skills and ability to work well within a team.

Essential Skills

5 GCSE's which much include English and Maths at Grade C or higher

however candidates with other relevant experience will also be considered

A minimum of 1 years Pharmacy /Dispensary experience

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Numeracy and computer competency

Working Hours

Working hours will be rostered 9am - 6pm and include Saturdays - Days to be confirmed later

Desirable Skills

:

OTC Assistant qualification or equivalent

Benefits:

- Salary negotiable based on experience

Up to 12.21 per hour

- 28 holidays including Stat days - pro rata if part time
