Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust is currently has an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacy Purchasing Officer to work within our Medicines Purchasing team.
Do you have a solid background in purchasing or financial processing? Are you eager to develop your experience in a busy team which underpins vital patient services? Working within a small team at QMC campus you will be responsible for ordering medicines for both QMC and City campus.
Reporting to the Pharmacy Purchasing Manager, your work in the Pharmacy Purchasing Team will include:-Placing daily orders for medicines and other pharmaceutical items used across the TrustEnsuring medicines pricing is accurate, and resolving pricing and supplier queries Liaising with clinical colleagues to ensure uninterrupted product supplyMaintaining and reconciling systems and data relating to areas such as medical gas supplies across the TrustYour Qualifications:You need to be highly competent in purchasing or financial processing tasks, with a meticulous eye for detail, and able to turn round large volumes of work accurately to tight deadlines. Experience of working proactively in a busy environment is ideal.
