Community Pharmacy Humber - Humber Local Pharmaceutical Committee (LPC) is the local voice of Community Pharmacy contractors within its Health & Wellbeing Board areas. We represent 181 pharmacies across Humber, working to improve pharmaceutical services and NHS collaborations to benefit local populations.

Summary



We are seeking a Pharmacy Services and Support Officer Support the CPH Director of Services with development, implementation and management of pharmacy services and provision of pharmacy contractor support services for delivery across East Riding of Yorkshire, Hull, North East Lincolnshire & North Lincolnshire community pharmacies in line with the LPC strategic plan.

Main responsibilities



Responding to contractor queries (relevant to knowledge base and expertise).

Creation of Pharmacy related content for social media, webpages, and weekly digest.

Pharmacy contractor Support visits.

Community pharmacy representation at external meetings.

Development and management of PharmOutcomes platforms. (Skills to be developed

during the post)

Maintain a high profile for the LPC and the pharmacy profession.

To work with local pharmacy contractors, heads of services and directors to support patient focused integrated community pharmacy services

To keep abreast of any primary care changes likely to affect the LPC Strategic Plan and

bring to the attention of the LPC, advising on their likely impact

To attend any LPC meetings, workshops/events that may help to develop the LPC

Strategy; assessing progress & reporting results to the committee in written format

To raise the profile of community pharmacy by establishing and maintaining links with

key Partners, patients and the media.

To raise awareness and to promote any new opportunities for community pharmacy to prospective commissioners

To carry out other duties commensurate with the post as required or directed by the LPC.

To keep up to date on professional developments and opportunities for promoting and developing community pharmacy services in the LPC area

To engage in dialogue within NHS England, and other relevant bodies (Places, Local Authority, Health and Wellbeing Boards etc.) as primary care changes

To work within the LPC constitution

Qualifications and Experience



An apprenticeship or equivalent qualification in an appropriate field or a GPhC-accredited Level 3 qualification, such as a Level 3 Diploma.

Minimum of 3 years post registration experience or equivalent.

Experience of working within Community Pharmacy and/or the external health system.
