Duties
- Assist the Pharmacist in all aspects of the smooth running of the pharmacy to ensure that patients receive the best possible care
- Label and dispense medications to patients according to prescriptions and guidelines
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of medication orders
- Maintain inventory of medications and supplies
- Provide information and counselling to patients regarding medication use and potential side effects
- In addition to the preparation of prescriptions, duties include greeting and serving customers, ensuring shelves are tidy and fully stocked and signing up all eligible patients for available services.
Requirements
As well as the ability to work accurately and efficiently, with a high level of attention to detail, both independently and as part of the team, you will be flexible and hardworking, with a confident and friendly manner, demonstrating both excellent customer service and strong communication skills.
Job Type: Saturday with overtime available during the week (optional)
Expected hours: 8 per week
The successful candidate will receive a competitive salary and benefits package including pension and 25 days' holiday plus statutory days.
