We have an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacy Support Worker to join our Pharmacy team at HMP Wealstun is a Category C men\'s prison, located near the village of Thorp Arch in West Yorkshire. Which is based 30 minute from Leeds, and 5 minutes from the A1 just off Boston Spa.HoursShifts for this role fall between the hours of 7:30-5:30 Monday to SundayThis position is full time, you\'ll receive an annual salary up to \xc2\xa323,383 per annum - depending on experience.How will we support you?

Candidates are required to have a Legal right to work in the UK and due to the nature of the role, offers of employment will be subject to additional vetting and security checksWhat you\'ll be doingAs a Pharmacy Checker, your responsibilities will vary. You will
  • Be responsible for the second checking of all controlled drugs under the direct supervision of the Pharmacy Technician.
  • Make accurate entries into controlled drug registers.
  • Support and provide a timely and efficient pharmaceutical service to the prison wings.
  • You will contribute to the development of and support implementation of medicine management strategy and associated services and projects
  • You may be required to take on a role of working across multiple Pharmacy Services if and when required.

  • Medicines handing experience desirable not essential
  • English and Maths GCSE Grade C/4 or above/equivalent E.g. Functional skills Level 2
