Pharmacy Tech
Job Description
The role will involve working closely with our Clinical Pharmacists, GPs and other Practice staff to support safe, effective and efficient prescribing within the Practices. Regular tasks include: Direct work with patients, including supporting safe medication use, repeat prescription reconciliations, and leading Level 1 medication reviews. Liaison with Practice colleagues and partner organisations, including care homes, CCG Medicines Optimisation Teams and local Pharmacies. Supporting safe systems of working, including leading audits, communicating safety alerts and formulary changes.
Supporting delivery of contract requirements, including DES contract and QOF targets. Please refer to the attached and Person Specification for detailed information.
