Watterson Pharmacy is seeking a Pharmacy Technician or Dispenser or Assistant to join their team. The pharmacy requires someone with organizational skills and who is a good team player. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a well-regarded business.
Responsibilities
Communicate with patients and caregivers about their needs, symptoms, diagnosis, and treatment using listening skills, telephone etiquette, listening comprehension, communication, and problem-solving skills. The successful candidate will work on the Pharmacy Medicine Counter, dispensing prescriptions, serving customers, ordering, and keeping stock up to date. Other duties as assigned
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
Minimum Medicine Counter Assistant (MCA) qualification Possess an NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Dispensing. Previous experience of working in a busy pharmacy. Have excellent English and Maths skills. Be IT literate. Be flexible to cover staff annual leave. Be able to work in a team and on own initiative. Be able to adhere to patient confidentiality. Have excellent customer service skills.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: From 12.50 per hour
Expected hours: 30 per week
