What will the apprentice be doing?
Your day to day responsibilities will include;
unpacking and putting away orders
preparation of prescriptions
working with and providing support to the Pharmacists
assisting the team to achieve business goals and aspirations
providing a high quality customer experience
assisting with care home services
providing administration support and being able to work with confidential information and follow set processes
What training will the apprentice take and what qualification will the apprentice get at the end?
You will be undertaking a dual award advanced apprenticeship programme consisting of a BTEC Level 3 Diploma in Pharmaceutical Science (QCF) and an NVQ Level 3 Diploma in Pharmacy Service Skills to become a fully trained and qualified registered Level 3 Pharmacy Technician.
The training will take place online and one day a week.
What is the expected career progression after this apprenticeship?
Once qualified, the successful apprentice will work full time at our chemist
