Helping dispensary staff and working in dispensary

Apprenticeship to become qualified Pharmacy Accuracy Checking Technician and registration with General Pharmaceutical Council.

Minimum two year commitment required.

General pharmacy duties

Summary

As a Pharmacy Technician Apprentice, you will be integral to delivering exceptional patient care and supporting the pharmacy team in medication administration. Reporting to the licensed pharmacist, your role will involve assisting with prescription preparation, managing inventory, and ensuring compliance with GPhC regulations. Your core skills in patient interaction, combined with premium experience in pharmacy operations, will enhance the quality of service provided to our patients. This apprenticeship offers a valuable opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge in a dynamic healthcare environment while contributing to patient health and safety.

Qualifications

Strong patient care skills Previous experience as a pharmacy dispenser qualified to level 1 or 2 Knowledge of medication administration practices Familiarity with GPhC regulations and standards Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and safety

Pay: 12.00-12.94 per hour

Expected hours: 36 - 40 per week
