Characteristics:



Completed NVQ3 in Pharmaceutical Science and the Healthcare Advisor Programme (or equivalent) Registered with the Pharmacy Regulator (GPhC) where applicable Passionate about quality and care; consistently leads the dispensary so that it operates in an orderly manner Understands the need for and secures compliance with procedures that drive safety, care and profit High level of professional expertise and widely respected by the healthcare team and local healthcare professionals Keeps up to date with own learning and development, driving their capability and sharing knowledge with other team members Digitally savvy and comfortable with navigating and embracing new technology Friendly and energetic, providing great care in everything they do

Responsibilities / Accountabilities



Role models, leads and delivers exceptional care, supporting patients and customers to make appropriate choices regarding healthcare products and services Works flexibly across the healthcare area according to business need, continually developing their knowledge so that they can be at their best for patients and customers Exemplary in working to deliver complete care solutions for our patients and customers, coaching other healthcare team members to do the same Leads for and responsible for legal, safe and ethical decision-making within the pharmacy Complies with all relevant legal and ethical requirements, accepted best professional practice guidance and related GPhC requirements Leads and delivers an efficient pharmacy operating platform in the pharmacy to maximise stock availability, control costs, minimise loss, maximise profitability and meet patient and customer expectations Maintains a clean and clutter free pharmacy and healthcare area to promote the 'look and feel' of a brilliant pharmacy Leads and delivers an efficient pharmacy model day and other operational processes in partnership with the healthcare team to ensure that the pharmacy trades legally and safely Completes basic operational processes: filing, answering the phone and taking orders for repeats, stock rotation, unpacking of orders, date checking and storage. Knows how Charing pharmacy products and services offers compare with those of our competitors and uses this information to create lifelong pharmacy customers Proactively seeks opportunities to engage with local commissioners and external healthcare professionals. Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 15.50-15.70 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
