Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team in Bathgate Health Centre Pharmacy. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our pharmacy operations, ensuring that patients receive the highest level of care and service. This position requires a commitment to accuracy, patient safety, and effective communication within a fast-paced environment.

Duties

Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications to patients. Provide excellent patient care by answering queries and offering guidance on medication usage. Maintain accurate records of prescriptions and patient information. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and pharmacy policies. Manage inventory by ordering, receiving, and storing pharmaceutical supplies. Conduct medication administration under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Assist in the training of new staff members as required.

Experience

Registered with the GPhC Strong skills in patient care, with an emphasis on communication and empathy. Familiarity with medication administration processes is advantageous. Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also demonstrating initiative when required. Attention to detail and strong organisational skills are essential for maintaining accuracy in all tasks.
