Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our healthcare team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in ensuring the safe and effective administration of medications to patients. You will work closely with pharmacists and other healthcare professionals to provide excellent patient care and support the smooth operation of the pharmacy.

Responsibilities

Assist in the preparation and dispensing of medications as per prescriptions. Ensure accurate medication administration while adhering to safety protocols. Provide exceptional patient care by answering queries and offering guidance on medication usage. Maintain accurate patient records and manage inventory levels of pharmaceutical supplies. Collaborate with pharmacists in conducting medication reviews and monitoring patient outcomes. Uphold cleanliness and organisation within the pharmacy environment. Participate in training and development activities to enhance professional skills.

Experience

Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician is preferred, but not essential for candidates demonstrating a strong willingness to learn. Knowledge of medication administration practices and patient care principles is highly desirable. Strong attention to detail, organisational skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment are essential attributes for success in this role.

Pay: 14.50-16.00 per hour
