Summary

We are seeking a skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Boreham Pharmacy. In this role, you will play a vital part in dispensing and patient care, contributing significantly to the health and well-being of our community.

Responsibilities

Assist pharmacists in dispensing medications accurately and efficiently. Provide excellent patient care by answering questions and addressing concerns. To receive prescriptions from customers and ensure they reach the dispensary in a timely manner. To inform the customer of approximate waiting times and to manage their expectations. Maintain accurate records of medication inventory and patient profiles. To identify medicine related problems or queries and bring these to the attention of the pharmacist. Ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations and standards Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.

Requirements

MUST have completed an accredited NVQ Level 2/3 for pharmacy dispensing/ technician. Excellent communication and customer service skills for effective patient interaction. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail. Prior experience in a pharmacy setting is preferred.

Education

Minimum 5 GCSEs. Should be able to read and write and simple calculations/ arithmetic.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 12.21-13.00 per hour

Expected hours: 08.30 - 18.30 per week
