Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting our pharmacy operations, ensuring the safe and effective administration of medications while providing exceptional patient care. Duties

Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately and efficiently. Perform medication administration under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Maintain patient records and ensure all information is up to date and accurate. Provide excellent customer service by addressing patient inquiries and concerns regarding medications. Manage inventory levels, including ordering, receiving, and storing pharmaceutical supplies. Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and pharmacy policies. Participate in ongoing training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge in pharmacy practice.

Qualifications

Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician is preferred but not essential; training will be provided for the right candidate. Knowledge of medication administration procedures and pharmacy operations is advantageous. Strong attention to detail and organisational skills are essential for maintaining accurate records. Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals. Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of patient care.
