Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmaceutical Technician (Qualified or Trainee) to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient dispensing of medications to patients. This position requires strong communication skills, a commitment to patient care, and the ability to work collaboratively within a pharmacy setting.

Responsibilities

Accurately dispense medications as per prescriptions while adhering to all relevant guidelines, SOPs and regulations. Provide exceptional patient care by answering queries regarding medication, side effects, and interactions. Assist in the dispensing of medications, including complaince aids (dosage boxes). Maintain accurate records on the PMR. Work under supervision of pharmacists under their guidance. Ensure the cleanliness and organisation of the pharmacy environment, including proper storage of medications. Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance professional skills and knowledge.

Experience

Previous experience as a Pharmaceutical Technician or in a similar role is preferred but not essential. Familiarity with medication dispensing processes and in particular Titan PMR is a advantage. Strong attention to detail and organisational skills are critical for success in this role. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively interact with patients and team members. A commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical standards in pharmacy practice.
