Prepare and check aseptic products to ensure patient safety.
Contribute to the smooth running of our technical services, maintaining compliance with GMP standards.
Play a key role in delivering life-saving treatments to our patients at WHH .

Main duties of the job
1. Dispense and manufacture parenteral medication including cytotoxic preparations and clinical trial material, using highly specialist skills and techniques and specialist equipment, ensuring validation tests are always current.
2. Issue and dispense final products to customers creating advice notes, dispatching orders to wards and liaising with them as required using tact and persuasive skills.
3. Supervise and train student technicians, pre-registration pharmacists, rotational pharmacists, support workers and new staff to the aseptic unit, in consultation with the Senior staff.
4.Complete and review worksheets and labels prior to preparation of intravenous doses including cytotoxic medication, total parental nutrition and neonatal medication, performing complex calculations, to check the volumes of medicine as required
