Are you an experienced Pharmacy Technician or Dispenser looking for a rewarding opportunity in primary care?

Penrose Health is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our growing clinical team on a 12-month maternity cover contract.

About the role...

You'll play a key part in supporting the safe, efficient, and timely delivery of medications across our services. Working closely with our pharmacists and wider multi-disciplinary team, you'll help manage a high volume of prescription requests and provide expert support in areas including:Medication and prescription workflow management Safe and timely medication monitoring (including bloods and drug levels) Handling prescription queries and processing clinical letters Liaising with community pharmacies, hospitals, and the wider MDT Supporting audits, reducing medication wastage, and contributing to cost-effective prescribing
This role is primarily based at our Nightingale site, with opportunities for working across our network of practices in South East London.

What We're Looking For...

Must-haves:

Strong communication skills (verbal and written) Excellent attention to detail Relevant pharmacy experience in a clinical setting (1 year as a minimum) Ability to work independently and as part of a team Self-motivated and highly organised Commitment to continuous improvement and duty of candour

Desirable:

Previous experience in a GP practice or primary care Experience using EMIS and other based Microsoft based programmes Community or hospital pharmacy background A passion for patient care and healthcare innovation

Qualifications:

GPhC registration required (for Pharmacy Technicians only) Minimum GCSE-level education (or equivalent)
