Pharmacy Bond is a successful NHS online pharmacy based in Farnborough, GU14 6BN. Established over 10 years ago. As well as NHS services, we also provide vaccination services, phlebotomy and sexual health checks.

Our work environment:

no different to high street pharmacies but without the footfall, except for the private services that we offer.

: Pharmacy Technician (Dispenser NVQ Level 2 will be considered if experienced)

We are now recruiting for a pharmacy Technician to join our pharmacy team on permanent basis with at least 3 years experience.

We are looking for an individual who will support the Pharmacy Manager and to deliver excellent customer service. You MUST have good leadership skills and be able to manage staff.

We are a home delivery pharmacy and your job role will include handling managed ordering for patients, dispensing of care homes, dispensing prescriptions, and general pharmacy duties. As we are an online business we sometimes receive a lot of calls and answering the phone in a timely manner is paramount to serving our customer needs.

You must have excellent customer service skills and be able to work in an efficient manner. Flexibility is expected where the business demands.

A polite and clear telephone manner is also very important as you will be answering phone calls from primarily elderly people who are often hard-of-hearing . You will be expected to deal with patient queries.

Your salary will be based on experience and level of qualification and responsibilities you are willing to take on.

This job requires you to:

1. be prepared to do full-time hours whilst the manager is away (2-4 weeks per year).

2. be proficient in proscript connect

3. have a smart card

4. have at least 3 years experience in an NHS pharmacy and able to verify that with a reference

5. be able to manage stock ordering and be familiar with the different suppliers

The hours of business are 9:00 am - 6:30 pm Monday to Friday

The minimum hours per week will be 15 hours with scope for more later. This could be spread over 2 days or 3 days. The hourly rate will depend on your level of experience.
