Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting the pharmacy operations, ensuring the safe and effective delivery of medications to patients. This position requires a strong commitment to patient care and the ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare environment.

Duties

Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing medications accurately and efficiently. Provide exceptional patient care by answering queries and offering guidance regarding medication usage. Maintain accurate records of prescriptions, inventory, and patient information. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and pharmacy policies. Assist in medication administration under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Monitor stock levels and assist with inventory management, including ordering supplies as needed. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the pharmacy workspace.

Qualifications

Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician is preferred but not essential; training will be provided. Strong understanding of medication administration and pharmacy operations. Excellent communication skills, with a focus on patient care and customer service. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Must possess relevant certifications or be willing to obtain them as required by local regulations. A compassionate approach towards patients, demonstrating empathy and understanding in all interactions.

Pay: 11,492.00-12,000.00 per year

Expected hours: No more than 17 per week
