We have an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacy Technician to join our Primary Care team at HMP Belmarsh, a

category A

Prison located in

Greenwich, London.

HMP Belmarsh is a male, maximum security prison that has a capacity for 910 inmates.


In this role you'll be working with a multi-disciplinary team that will support you and help you succeed.




Hours





Monday to Friday - 9.00 to 17.00




Salary





This position is full time, you'll receive an annual salary up to

43,756

per annum - depending on experience.

What you'll be doing





As a Pharmacy Technician, your responsibilities will vary. You will


Focussing on providing a safe and secure medicines management service, ensuring patient medical records are maintained to the agreed standard at all times and ensuring standard operating procedures are followed to a high and orderly standard. Assist with the provision and delivery of an integrated, safe, legal, high-quality prison pharmaceutical service, taking into consideration, at all times, the need to maintain a high level of security. You will make a real difference by working as a key member of a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals.

Requirements


Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council Up to date with Continual Professional Development (CPD) Relevant post-qualification pharmacy experience Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Able to work unsupervised whilst following policy and procedures

Although not essential ideal applicants would have experience in a hospital, community or prison environment.
