We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician to join our PCN team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting pharmacists in the preparation and dispensing of medications, ensuring high standards of patient care and safety. This position requires a strong commitment to accuracy and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.

Duties

Assist pharmacists in preparing and dispensing prescription medications accurately. Conduct medication administration under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Provide excellent patient care by answering queries and offering guidance on medication usage. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements. Manage inventory, including ordering, restocking, and monitoring medication supplies. Ensure cleanliness and organisation of the pharmacy workspace. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimise patient outcomes.

Qualifications

Previous experience as a Pharmacy Technician is highly desirable. Knowledge of medication administration practices and procedures. Strong focus on patient care with excellent communication skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a team while also being self-motivated. Attention to detail and strong organisational skills are essential. Familiarity with pharmacy software systems is an advantage.
