Full Time - 37.5 Hours a week



13.00 per hour with training pathways up to 15.00 per hour

So what is it we do?



We specialise in assisting people with long term conditions and co-morbidities. Progressive conditions, end of life care, trauma, re-enablement and rehabilitation. Providing and promoting quality of life, choice, dignity and independence wherever possible. To be a little more specific, this could be in the form of-

Intense rehabilitation

Slow-stream rehabilitation

Neurological rehabilitation

Respiratory rehabilitation

Respiratory maintenance.

Tracheostomy and Ventilation.

Neurological & palliative symptom management

End of life care / palliative care

Complex Symptom management

This is just an insight into the type of care we deliver but will give you an idea how the job could be rewarding in so many ways.

What is it you will be doing?



You will be leading the management and maintenance of the supply of medications in use within Pathfinders-Care and ensure supply is always available. You will also be expected to lead in ensuring safe maintenance and issuing of medication within Pathfinders-Care. This may include:

o Monitoring daily fridge and room temperatures storing medications and report any faults to the maintenance team.

o Liaising daily with the nursing team to ensure adequate stock levels of medication are maintained for each service user.

o Receiving monthly supplies of medication for each service user and accurately book in and distribute as per legislation guidance states.

o Ensuring that all medications including dressings and topical creams are in date.

o Checking daily, controlled medications including expiry dates, correct stock levels and safe administration policy and procedures are followed as per legislation

o Completing a monthly medication audit ensuring medications are correctly recorded as per policy

o Participating in regular reviews with health and social care professionals involved in the wellbeing of individual service users to maintain a holistic approach to their care.

o Assisting with med error investigations.

Full Time Hours (37.5 Hours)

13.00 per hour with training pathways up to 15.00 per hour (if Pharmacy Technician)

Night shift increment of extra 1 per hour (not available unless working a night shift)

Weekend enhancement

Overtime paid at 1.5 times normal rate of pay (After 36 hours or above contracted hours whichever is higher)

Full induction (6 months) and personal training pathway up to and including Apprentice Nurse Associate Programme. We will be looking to expand this out further to offer training pathways in Occupational therapy, Physiotherapy and Speech and Language therapist over the next 18 months and into 2023.
