Reporting to: PCN Pharmacist lead

Hours: Full time hours of 37.5 per week. We are open to negotiating the working pattern.

Salary: From 18.31 per hour - negotiable based on level of experience.

Sutton Coldfield Group Practice (SCGP) Primary Care Network consists of a single merged innovative practice on a single IT system. We pride ourselves on providing high quality patient centered care by a well-supported team of staff with a focus on a culture of continued learning and improvement.

We are looking for enthusiastic, highly motivated Pharmacy Technicians with a minimum of 2 years' experience to join our existing PCN Pharmacy team.

The post holder will:

Support the PCN clinical pharmacist in the delivery of clinical pharmacy services.

Liaise with clinicians and administrative staff to resolve medicines-related queries

Monitor practice prescribing and adherence to local and national prescribing policies

Improve service and quality through mechanisms such as audits

If upon you joining SCGP (Sutton Coldfield Group Practice), you are currently a patient at one of the SCGP practices, you will be asked to transfer to a different practice. During your probation, unless there is no other alternative available for you, you will be expected to transfer to another practice to ensure that you are not treated by a colleague.

Candidate must be registered with the General Pharmaceutical Council and have a BTEC/NVQ level 3 or equivalent in pharmaceutical sciences.
Experience of working within a primary care, community or hospital setting.
